ITN chief executive Anna Mallett is leaving the company to take up a new global production role at Netflix.
Anna has been at ITN since early 2019 and in this time has overseen the development of a new vision, strategy and culture. She has steered the company through an unprecedented period of global turbulence, building upon ITN’s foundational news business while continuing to diversify into other areas. Anna’s leadership has ensured that the company has remained resilient through the Covid-19 pandemic and is well positioned for 2021 and beyond. Prior to joining ITN, Anna was Chief Operating Officer and MD of Production at BBC Studios.
Anna Mallett said: “I have been so proud to be Chief Executive of ITN and to lead this unique company. From day one, I have been so impressed by the fearless spirit, the innovation, intelligence and creativity here. It has been wonderful to have the opportunity to work with so many talented and inspirational people, and I will leave knowing a bright future lies ahead for the company.”
