Harry Redknapp has said the thought of becoming the next England football manager has not crossed his mind.
Speaking from his car as he left his home in Poole, the Tottenham manager said: "I've not even thought about it. I've got a job to do. I've got a big game on Saturday for Tottenham. Tottenham is my focus."
The resignation of Fabio Capello from the managerial role took many by surprise, including Redknapp.
"I was shocked. I was surprised. I didn't expect that to happen. We knew he was going to leave in the summer. I didn't expect it to happen now," he said.
Harry Redknapp is currently the favourite to get the job of England football manager.
On Wednesday, the Spurs boss was cleared of tax evasion charges.
