Andre Villas-Boas has praised John Terry following his Thursday night performance against Spurs.
Despite being told he faces charges over allegations of racism towards QPR's Anton Ferdinand, the Chelsea captain seemed on top form in the 1-1 draw, despite almost constant jeers from opposition fans.
"His performances have increased since the incident happened," said Villas-Boas.
"A fantastic player, I mean his commitment is never in doubt, his quality and talent is never in doubt so I mean he is completely focused to the causes of the football club and his performances have not dropped a single level."
Even those who faced Terry last night could not deny he was on top form.
Emmanuel Adebayor had a goal bound run denied by Terry to secure the draw, and was full of admiration for his opponent.
He told reporters: "We are all human beings. We all have problems in our families, problems at home, but when you put the shirt on you just have to manage it.
"It's always difficult in the head, but you have to try to put the problem behind you and work for the team because you have another 10 players who are there so you have to show them respect by working hard and doing whatever it takes.
"I think John Terry showed good personality and great character."
