ITV News viewers will now be able to get their Newsfix on the go by subscribing to ITV ‘s made for mobile news bulletins.
More than 9 million people watch ITV News every day and Newsfix will give them a chance to catch up on the day ‘s main stories wherever they are. From 28 May, ITV News is introducing a tailor-made service that will deliver the latest news and video directly to 3G mobile phones.
Presented by ITV News presenters including Mary Nightingale and Mark Austin, Newsfix will carry the main ITV News stories of the day. The service will be produced by ITN’s multimedia division ITN On.
For a £2 a week subscription fee viewers can sign up to Newsfix by texting ‘FIX’ to 88333. Subscribers will then receive bespoke bite-size bulletins of up to two minutes long at each end of the working day around 9am and 5pm. At weekends and bank holidays,there will be one bulletin available from lunchtime.
