ITN Productions hires new Director of Commercials and Branded Content

ITN Productions has hired former Saatchi & Saatchi managing partner Laetitia Rennie as Director of Commercials and Branded Content. The move signifies the increasing synergy and collaboration between TV commercials and digital branded content within ITN Productions.

An ad agency veteran, Laetitia joined Saatchi and Saatchi in 2001 and was managing partner for three years running the Asda retail business, until June 2014.

Laetitia’s appointment follows the announcement of ITV and ITN Productions’ new commercials partnership, AdVentures, which enables advertisers to work with ITV talent and brands, and to connect with their consumers in unique new ways.

Laetitia, who will join in mid-February, said: “It is with great delight that I will be joining the ITN Productions team, helping the business drive even greater success through its TV Commercial and Branded Content offering.  It is imperative that Agencies, Clients and the brands they are responsible for, have the opportunity to both create and distribute creative content to their audience, irrespective of the constraints of process, time and budget.  ITN Productions is best placed in the market to enable this and I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in.”

ITNP TV Commercial clients range from fashion and FMCG, pharma and furnishings. Highlights include the award-winning Lego-versioned adverts for BT and Confused.com which achieved 1 million views online and won 2 Golds at the Cannes Lion Awards. Collaborations include working with ITV talent such as Ant and Dec, Torvill and Dean as well as Keith Lemon for Cadbury’s.

Our branded content team offers a full range of creative production capabilities to support campaigns across social media, from production of single films through to series of content for clients including Heineken, Lloyds Bank and Virgin Media. The team is also at the forefront of ‘always’ on branded entertainment in the UK, producing channels for Thomas Cook, Natwest and BNY Melon. The team also offers production of Virtual Reality films, interactive and personalisation films.
