Wimbledon success lifts Brits in rankings

Andy Murray is back in the top ten in the world tennis rankings after reaching the Wimbledon quarter-finals.

The British number one has risen two places to ninth, overtaking Stanislas Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet.

Anne Keothavong's first round victory over Vania King at the All England Club lifted her ten places in the rankings to 82nd, the highest position of her career.

Elena Baltacha became the second-highest ranked Briton by rising 11 places to 133rd, thanks to her first round win over Angelique Kerber.

Chris Eaton enjoyed a meteoric rise as a result of his victory over Boris Pashanski.

He climbed from 661st in the world to 405th and he is now Britain's seventh-best player.
