Arsenal coasted through their Champions League qualifier with a 4-0 victory over FC Twente.

The Gunners' victory over former England manager Steve McClaren's side at the Emirates Stadium sees them go safely through to the lucrative group stages of the European competition.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be content with the result as well as a much-improved display following Saturday's capitulation to Fulham

Leading 2-0 from the first leg in Holland, Arsenal impressed from kick-off and it was no surprise when they went ahead through French winger Samir Nasri on 27 minutes.

Captain William Gallas added another at the start of the second half, before Theo Walcott got the goal his all-action display merited.

Nicklas Bendtner added a last-minute tap-in to make it a miserable return home for McClaren.
