Sandi Thom single set for release
Scottish singer songwriter Sandi Thom has talked about her new single due for release later this month.
It's the second single off her album 'The Pink and The Lily' which was released in May.
She said the song titled, 'Saturday Night' was inspired by her party lifestyle while she was on tour.
"My manager told me I couldn't keep going out and partying all the time because we have to be more professional and I think I was getting a little bit carried away with myself," she said.
"So he phoned me up and said 'Come on Sandy, there is only one Saturday night in every week. You cant go out all the time and get drunk and what not.
"So that line became the first line of the song."
Thom first came to fame in 2006 with the hit song 'I Wish I Was a Punkrocker (With Flowers In My Hair)'.
