Efron 'ambushed in street'

High School Musical star Zac Efron had to be helped by his security team after a man reportedly leapt at him in the street.
The actor and his girlfriend co-star Vanessa Hudgens were on their way out of Apollo theatre in London when it happened.
The man was apparently pinned to the ground while Zac and Vanessa were rushed to a waiting car by their staff
The man was said to be pointing and yelling at the pair.
He was then pinned to the ground while Efron and Hudgens were rushed to a waiting car by their staff.
The pair are in the city for the premiere of their latest film High School Musical 3: Senior year.
A wax-work statue of Efron was unveiled at the Madame Tussaud museum on Thursday.
