Keane's third album Perfect Symmetry hits shelves on Monday.
The band said fans can expect a different approach to music on the album.
"I think the music is a bit brighter and more multi-coloured so that's our look on the world" - Tim Rice-Oxley
Pianist Tim Rice-Oxley said: "If people expect you to do the same thing on every album they're certainly going to be disappointed as far as Keane are concerned.
"You make a record and then you make the next one two years later. You change as people and you have new influences and new ideas and that has certainly happened to us.
