Star Wars becomes reality with Xbox Kinect

Microsoft are harnessing the power of their controller-free technology to make Star Wars a reality for many fans.

Kinect will allow players to use the Force and battle with a lightsaber, using just their body.

3D graphics will also bring the game to life, while multiplayer compatibility is enabled through co-op, competitive and duel modes.

No date of release has yet been issued, but Xbox Kinect have teamed up with American comedy actor Chris Pratt and LucasArts to create a teaser for the game, showing Pratt in a duel against Darth Vader.

A spring 2012 release is anticipated.
