Amateur video appears to show Syrian rebels firing their guns and then shooting down a plane.
Said to be filmed in the Al-Mansoorah and Al-Qusfoorah neighbourhoods a destroyed helicopter lies on the ground in the footage, which cannot be independently verified.
The speaker in the video said: "God is great, downing an aircraft.
"These are your planes Bashar al-Assad, they are in control of the rebels."
Further film taken from a social networking site seems to show armed rebels watching aircraft in what is said to be the city of Kernaz.
The men in the footage then appear to shoot down the plane and start celebrating.
Meanwhile, Syrian opposition leader Moaz Alkhatib has urged President Bashar al-Assad to respond to a call to make clear his stance.
Alkhatib, speaking after meeting Russian and US officials in Germany, said that major powers had no vision for a solution to the war in Syria and only Syrians could decide on a way forward.
He said: "The regime must take a clear stand (on dialogue) and we say we will extend our hand for the interest of people and to help the regime leave peacefully," he said.
"It is now in the hands of the regime."
