A TV movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden features a brief appearance from Barack Obama.

Thanks to some crafty editing, the trailer for SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden, features a few seconds of the President.

The movie focuses on the hunt by intelligence operatives for bin Laden, who was killed in May 2011 in Pakistan.

It will be screened in the US on November 4, just two days before the presidential election.

Some Republicans have said the timing of the film's premiere and the decision to include footage of the President, amounts to propaganda rather than entertainment.

The movie is also backed by longtime Democratic contributor and Obama supporter Harvey Weinstein.

Both the Weinstein group and National Geographic have denied the propaganda allegations, with the broadcaster adding that if they thought it was, they would not air the film.
