Chinese paratroopers were filmed storming an island this week in a mock display of military might.

The soldiers were supported by attack helicopters, reconnaissance troops and amphibious tanks which landed on the beach.

Most of the military exercise was caught on camera.

Commanders were testing a new computer system which apparently enables them to get accurate information about the enemy and distribute it quickly to every fighter on the ground.
