Dead finback whale found in Boston harbour

Report by Mark Morris

A 50ft finback whale has been found dead in Boston Harbour.

The whale was a male about ten-to-12 years old.

Experts say it may have come from a nearby marine sanctuary, but the cause of its death has not been determined.

The finback whale is considered an endangered species.

They can grow up to 70ft making them the second longest species of whale behind the blue whale.
