Thirty-five injured as tornado tears through funfair

Report by Kat Hayes

Thirty-five people were injured as a tornado tore through a funfair in the Spanish town of Gandia, near Valencia.

Despite the fair being closed at the time due to bad weather, 15 people were seriously injured and were treated on site.

Local media reports have said that all of the injured were fair workers.

The tornado toppled the ferris wheel and damaged several rides.
