A truck driver has had a lucky escape after colliding with another vehicle on a Russian highway.

Amateur video taken from a dashboard shows a large truck making a sudden manoevre to the left and crashing headlong into the man's oncoming truck.

He is then seen being thrown through his windscreen by the sheer force of the impact, but miraculously, he then walks away from the scene as his smashed vehicle stands on the highway.
