Amateur video has emerged showing a rebel fighter destroying two armoured vehicles with a grenade in Aleppo.

In the footage, the fighter runs across a street to a pair of personell carriers, before throwing a small explosive device between them.

The bomb appears to be enough to take out the vehicles, which catch fire and eventually explode.

Fierce fighting in Syria has seen upwards of 27,000 killed, as the 18-month-old uprising continues.
