Italian landslide injures four Australian tourists

Report by Sophie Foster

A landslide in the Italian resort of Cinque Terre has injured four Australian tourists.

Rocks fell from an overhang on the Via dell Amore that runs between the hilltop towns of Riomaggiore and Manarola, reportedly hitting the group as they were walking by.

One of the Australians was air lifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital. One other is also seriously injured with the remaining two being treated for light injuries and shock.
