Chinese boy gets head stuck in wall

Report by Rob Gillett

Firefighters came to the rescue of a small boy who got his head stuck while playing in a building in southwest China's Chongqing municipality on Tuesday.

The boy, who lives in the Hechuan District, put his head between the concrete pillars of a wall while playing but was unable to remove it.

After his mother made a failed attempt to free him, she had to call for help from the emergency services.

Following a careful examination, firefighters covered the boy's head with one of their jackets and then used hydraulic talls to push the pillars apart.

Within ten minutes the boy was freed, leaving him frightened but otherwise unharmed.
