Usain Bolt arrived back in Jamaica this week and immediately thanked his fans for their support at a "welcome home" press conference.
"I wouldn't say [it was] a bumpy ride but it wasn't a smooth season but with god, for me, I pushed through. I prayed a lot. I got a lot of prayers from all over the world. I got a lot of love on Facebook," Bolt said.
The sprinting "legend" also answered questions about whether he would run the 400m in Rio de Janeiro in four years time.
He said: "I'm hoping not.
"I'm trying to discourage my coach, but he's my coach."
"If he says 'let's do it' I'll do it but we'll see," he continued.
A celebration for Bolt and his fellow Jamaican Olympians is scheduled for October.
