President Obama may be the most powerful man in the world but that does not necessarily mean he is the strongest.

He was made to look lightweight when he was greeted by a 6'3" 260 pound pizza shop owner in Florida on Sunday.

Scott Van Duzer was so excited to be meeting the President that he bear hugged Mr Obama and lifted him off the ground.

"Man, are you a power lifter or what?" Obama joked after being placed back on the ground.

Van Duzer later said he was overcome with excitement.

Prior to the hug, Obama noted Van Duzer's muscular build, saying: "Everybody look at these guns."

He added, "Scott, let me tell you, you are like the biggest pizza shop owner I've ever seen."
