A dog has been caught on CCTV, running onto a motorway in China's Zhejiang Province and causing a pile-up.

Despite being hit by one of the vehicles involved, the animal is seen running off to safety.

Things don't end quite so well for the drivers involved. The Audi which hits the dog loses control, heading into oncoming traffic and colliding head on with an SUV.

The driver of the Audi managed to escape before the vehicle burst into flames, three passengers from the SUV had to be taken to hospital.
