At least four people have been killed and more than 100 left missing after flash floods triggered by a cloudburst near India's Uttarakhand state.
The Bhagirathi River became swollen due to the flash floods and washed away more than 150 houses and two bridges.
A cloudburst usually lasts for a short period of time and is a heavy, sudden rain that can often be accompanied by hail and thunder.
Local authorities have been evacuating those living near the river.
