Amazing amateur footage has been released of a tornado spinning its way across a Polish town.

One person was killed and ten others were injured when a wave of twisters ripped through the north of the country.

The amateur footage shows one hitting the town of Sztum on Saturday, a class two tornado with wind speeds of up to 200kph.

The only known fatality was a 60-year-old man crushed to death by a collapsing building.

Poland has been plagued by extreme whether since the beginning of July.
