The news came just ten days after Holmes announced she was leaving her superstar husband of six years.

Katie's lawyer revealed that the agreement had been reached privately.

"The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed," he told E! news.

"We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.
