President Barack Obama has visited parts of Colorado which have been devastated by wildfire.
While touring the area he said: "Obviously, what's also tragic is that the nature of these fires is that you can have a house that's perfectly fine on one side and then another house that's completely destroyed on the other.
"But because of those outstanding firefighters that we just saw, three of those homes were just saved. And for those three families, you know, those folks are heroes."
Later, authorities found a body in the debris of a burned-out home in Colorado Springs, marking the second death from a fierce wildfire that ranks as Colorado's most destructive on record after incinerating 347 homes.
The first fatality was confirmed on Thursday, although no details of the victim have been released.
