Men have raced down a small street in Madrid wearing stilettos, pumps, kitten heels and wedges to celebrate the start of the city's Gay Pride festival.
Race contestants put on their killer heels and ran as fast as possible, dressed to impress in their favourite outfits, wigs and make-up.
They were cheered along the route by hundreds of festival goers and drag queens taking part in the annual event.
Alien, the exhausted winner, said: "The race was very hard at the start because there were many people taking part. There were two in front of me, but once I passed them I just had to run faster and my heels broke a little bit, but it was great, I had a great time."
Ower, who scooped second place, said: "It is hard. Very, very hard. But enjoyable. This is my second race and my second prize in a row."
