A stunned museum goer has caught a vandal on camera defacing a Picasso artwork in the middle of a Houston gallery.

The man is seen spray-painting a bull onto the 1929 piece called Woman In A Red Armchair.

Underneath the animal, the graffiti artist sprayed the word Conquista which means conquest in Spanish.

Local police are currently searching for the culprit.
