Tattoo gurus and enthusiasts from all over South America have gathered in the Colombian capital Bogota.
The country's annual International Tattoo Convention is now in its sixth year and 15,000 people are expected to visit.
The convention showcases the latest in body art designs and techniques, with appearances from famous tattooists such as Venezuela's Eddy Avila and Javier "Jade" Campos from Peru.
Tattoo fan Andres Villa advised those considering getting inked to think carefully about their choice of design.
He said: "You have to at least be sure what you want and know that it will be with you for your whole life."
Other cities such as New York and London have long held their own tattoo conventions and six years ago, enthusiasts in Bogota decided to follow suit.
