A woman has been injured after a deer went charging down a high street in Essex.
The woman - reportedly in her 20s - suffered cuts and bruises when the animal tried to jump over her on Chelmsford High Street.
She was taken to Broomfield Hospital.
The deer also knocked over other pedestrians and dazed itself when it hit a glass window, according the authorities.
Essex Police confirmed the deer was later seen near the A12.
Roadblocks were established in an attempt to catch the animal but it was never seen again.
