A Hungarian lorry driver who drove the wrong way along the M6 has been jailed after admitting his driving was "dangerous to the max".
Pal Korbely drank beer and home-made plum brandy before driving south on the northbound carriageway of the M6 for 10 miles without his headlights on.
CCTV from the night of July 7, shows cars, other lorries and a petrol tanker swerving to avoid him.
The 50-year-old father who was twice over the limit when police stopped him was jailed for eight months and banned from driving for three years on Friday.
The judge said: "You described your driving as dangerous to the max and you were right. This was a prolonged course of dangerous driving which presented danger to innocent motorists at the highest level."
