Olympic visitors are facing a troubled commute to Stratford for the first day of the athletics, as the Central Line is suspended towards the Olympic Stadium.
The Central Line is suspended from Liverpool Street to Leytonstone, and commuters are reporting problems on the line as far west as Shepherd's Bush.
The problems follow a signal failure at Bethnal Green station, and Transport For London have said tickets are being accepted on other routes.
The closure is terrible timing for TFL as the athletics events kick off at the stadium later, making Friday the busiest day at the Olympic Park since the Games opened, with more than 200,000 people expected.
