The best friend of a 14-year-old boy killed in a hit-and-run crash has spoken of his grief.
The victim, named locally as Kyle Coen, was riding along the A2 near Sittingbourne in Kent on Monday night when he was struck by a grey Fiat Bravo.
He died from his injuries at the scene near Bapchild Cricket Club where his best friend Alex Stock laid flowers this morning.
Alex, who is also 14, said "I'm really upset. I can't believe it.
"We had plans to go out today but obviously it can't happen now. I've just been crying since it happened."
Kent Police say a 27-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man are helping them with their inquiries.
