Five people from London have been charged with terrorism offences.
Khalid Baqa, 47, Richard Dart, 29, Jahangir Alom, 26, Ruksana Begum, 22, and Imran Mahmood, 21, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.
Three men have been charged with preparing for acts of terrorism while a man and a woman have been charged with possessing terrorist documents.
The arrests were made at the beginning of the month during a Met Police operation in the city.
Richard Dart, Imran Mahmood and Jahangir Alom are alleged to have travelled to Pakistan for "training in terrorism" and to have provided information to others. They have been charged under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Ruksana Begum has been charged with possession of a document likely to be of use to a terrorist, and Khalid Baqa is charged with three counts of possession of terrorist material.
