McLaren's Lewis Hamilton said he wants Formula One to come to London, as a virtual street circuit was revealed to show what it might look like.

The virtual image of the track showed drivers passing famous land marks such as Buckingham Palace, Nelson's Column and Big Ben.

Hamilton said: "It is incredible, how the track might look and people are starting to think about it now. Hopefully it will ignite fans interest and get the important people who make the decisions to make it happen".

Hamilton is chasing his second world championship this season, although he trails leader Fernando Alonso by 23 points.
