World number two Rafael Nadal suffered a shock exit in the second round of Wimbledon to little known Lukas Rosol.

The two times winner of Wimbledon had no answer to the Czech, ranked 100 in the world.

He won a thrilling five set match 6-7 6-4 6-4 2-6 6-4.

It's the first time Nadal has been beaten in the second round of a grand slam for seven years.

He would have met Andy Murray in the semi-finals, had the pair advanced that far.

The British number one had a much simpler day, beating Ivo Karlovic in four sets, 7-5 6-7 6-2 7-6.
