A new set of Olympic rings has been installed on Tower Bridge, to mark exactly one month before the games get underway.
The iconic rings were made in Yorkshire, weigh three tonnes and cost a total of around £300,000 to make and install.
London 2012 Chairman Lord Coe and the ever enthusiastic Mayor Boris Johnson were there to watch the action, with Lord Coe delivering a message of confidence: "The venues are ready, they're under budget, the park looks fantastic already, the policing situation is great, you've got all the security in place, the transport network has had massive investment, and I know it's going to run very well. "
It is reported that all of London's major bridges, from Hungerford Bridge to London Bridge will be lit up each evening during the Olympics.
