Russian Egg Roulette World Championships held

Report by Sam Datta-Paulin

Russian roulette may be a more dangerous game, but the world egg russian roulette championships in Swaton, Lincolnshire, is just as nail biting.

The annual event sees each competitor pick an egg out of a box of six. Five have been hard boiled, but one is left raw.

The eggs are then smashed against the competitors faces, meaning the unlucky challenger is left, literally, with egg on their face.

The eventual winner was England's Jerry Cullen.

In addition to the Russian egg routlette, the Swaton event hosted competitions in the two person throw and catch, egg relay and egg target throwing disciplines.
