GB's Paralympic football team aiming for gold

Report by Sarah Johnston

Great Britain's blind football team is hoping to win a medal in the Paralympic Games.

Currently ranked fifth in the world, the team has won silver five times at the European Championships.

The rules mean players must wear eye-patches or blindfolds.

The goalkeeper is sighted, but can't leave a certain area of the pitch.

There is no off-side rule and the football has ball bearings inside so the players can hear it.

Team GB have their first match on August 31 when they take on Spain.
