American track and field athlete Tyson Gay has been speaking ahead of his first Olympic race in 2012.
The sprinter, who will compete in the 100 metre event, suffered a serious hip injury during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, meaning he failed to win a single medal, and has struggled to recover in recent years.
Now back to full fitness the 29-year-old says he is aiming to get a medal and believes it is possible to beat Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake: "I know what those guys bring to the table and they know what I bring to the table.
"So at the end of the day, regardless of whoever's on the radar, you're going to have eight finalists who are, nine times out of ten, capable of getting a medal."
