Many Olympians have overcome adversity to compete at London 2012, but perhaps none are competing quite like Malaysian air rifle shooter Nur Suryani Mohamed Taibi.
The athlete is competing in the ten metre category eight-months pregnant, and shot whilst her baby was kicking.
Suri, as she is known to her friends, found out she was pregnant just two days before being selected for the Games, and her pregancy has developed along with her training.
However, she said that with a little coaxing, her child stayed mostly quiet during the competition, telling reporters: "I just say to her, Mummy has to shoot for a few hours."
Although her husband gave her his blessing to compete, her family have been worried about Suri giving birth in Britain. She dismissed them though, simply saying that God had a plan for her and what would be would be.
The 47th ranked shooter failed to make the medals, coming in 34th in the heats. However, she certainly had one of the more memorable Games.
