David Beckham has revealed he has been given a "small part" in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on Friday, but refused to expand on what his role would entail.
Despite being left out of the Olympic football squad, Beckham described his involvement in the Games as a "privilege", saying: "I was involved seven years ago, and Seb has kept me involved since then. For him to keep me involved, I feel privileged."
He also revealed his children are slightly torn over which country to support at the Olympics.
"First off, they'll be supporting us of course - Team GB - and then, you know, we live in the US, so we know how many great athletes there are over there," said the footballer.
