Downton Abbey star Laura Carmichael has been telling us all about series four of the show and what's in store for her character, Lady Edith.

The 26-year-old actress was at the V&A museum in South Kensington on Wednesday night for the opening of the 'David Bowie Is' exhibition.

She told us: "Everyone is a bit blue at the beginning of the series but there are lots of exciting things happening."

And speaking about her character, Lady Edith, she said: "She is evolving. It's really exciting and as we move through the twenties the fashion is getting more exciting.

"I think part of Downton's success is down to all of the amazing costumes."
