Naomi Campbell has teamed up with fellow supermodels Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha to mentor 12 wannabe models for new TV show The Face.
The trio will each coach four models as they compete against each other, hoping to earn one of their respective models a year-long contract with ULTA Beauty.
On the red carpet Campbell said the contest mimics real life: "There's competitiveness with the girls and there is competitiveness with the coaches. And it would be, I would be lying if I said there wasn't.
"I mean, that's the way of the world, it's like that anyway. There are so many models out there vying for the job so it's good for them to know that that's the real authentic feeling of - what you see is what's authentic in the real world of modelling," Campbell said.
In addition to teaching the models all the techniques of the industry, the veterans also share their knowledge on fame.
But 42-year-old Campbell said she could not explain why she's been so lucky in the business: "I don't know, but I like what I do still. I don't do it every day, but I like when I do do it."
The Face will air on US cable network Oxygen on February 12th.
