Lindsay Lohan travelled from New York to appear in front of a Los Angeles court on Wednesday.
The actress arrived wearing a black dress and black sunglasses, accompanied by her mother, Dina Lohan, and her lawyer Mark Heller.
It comes after rumours she would not make the hearing, her lawyer having previously submitted papers saying she was too ill to fly.
The hearing was mostly a formality, with the judge setting a March 18 trial date, and an additional March 1 hearing, for which Lohan will not need to be present.
She is charged with three counts of misdemeanor following a June car crash, to all of which she has pleaded not guilty. If found guilty, she could face jail time for violating her probation for a 2011 jewellery theft.
