The Rolling Stones performed an intimate warm-up gig for 600 lucky fans in Paris on Thursday.
Ahead of the British rock stars embarking on a 50th anniversary tour, they took to the stage at La Trabendo club in Paris for a surprise concert.
The Stones had announced on Twitter that they were selling tickets for the gig at the Virgin Megastore on the Champs Elysees from midday Thursday.
Hundreds of fans queued, some overnight, to be in with a chance of buying one of the limited tickets.
Their determination was rewarded with a 75 minute performance by the Stones, which included hits like Jumpin Jack Flash, Route 66 and Brown Sugar.
Guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, and drummer Charlie Watts proved they can still make sweet music, while lead singer Mick Jagger proved that he still has the moves like... himself.
