Dynamo: Magician and self-confessed weird guy

Report by Lisa Snell

He has walked across the River Thames and down the side of the LA Times building, and while fans are desperate to know how he does it, Dynamo insists it "wouldn't make any sense" even if he revealed his secrets.

"If I tried to explain it, to be totally honest, it wouldn't make any sense... I'm just a weird guy, my mind works in mysterious ways," the Bradford-born magician said as he launched Dynamo: Magician Impossible series 2 on DVD.

The show, which originally aired on Watch in the UK, is the follow-up to his original award winning series and sees the star travel around the world performing magic for unsuspecting members of the public.

Speaking of his street magic, he said: "I think I'm always going to prefer the small stuff, I like being face-to-face performing for people."

But after two hit TV series, surprising people is a little more tricky.

"Between series one and making series two it was really difficult... in a way it's made me have to make my magic even better because I can't rely on the fact they might not know me and they won't already have a preconception of what I'm about to do.

"So I have to kind of come there, amaze them and just be more on point."

Dynamo: Magician Impossible series 2 is out now.
