Gary Barlow is is set to provide the singing voice of Postman Pat in a new film scheduled to be released in 2013.

The X Factor judge is believed to be recording several songs for the children’s film Postman Pat: The Movie - You Know You're The One.

Gary will sing a number of post-themed songs such as 'Wait A Minute Mr Postman' and 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'.

The DreamWorks animation, which also stars Jim Broadbent, David Tennant, Rupert Grint and Kate Winslet, will feature Green Wing star Stephen Mangan as the speaking voice of Postman Pat.
