Barbra Streisand's homecoming concert

Report by Genelle Aldred

Barbra Streisand has returned to her hometown of Brooklyn, New York to perform at her first ever concert there.

Streisand opened the show with "If We Never Say Goodbye" and then told the audience she was battling a cold by drinking chicken soup in between songs.

The star reminisced about her childhood and growing up in New York.

"The last time that I sang solo here in Brooklyn was on somebody's stoop on Pulaski Street, I was eight years old," she said.

The concert, "Back To Brooklyn," featured songs from the 70-year-olds 2011 album "What Matters Most".
